Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using 12quiz.app ("the Service"), operated by 19 Sites Aps ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

12quiz is a web-based platform that allows users to create, host, and play live multiplayer quizzes. The Service includes AI-powered quiz generation, a manual quiz editor, real-time gameplay, and tiered subscription plans (Free, Lite, Guru) that unlock larger sessions and additional features.

3. Account Registration

To host quizzes, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Players joining quizzes do not need an account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Creating quizzes is free. The Free tier allows 1 live session per month with up to 10 players. Paid subscriptions (Lite at $4.99/month and Guru at $8.99/month) unlock larger sessions, unlimited sessions, more AI generations, and additional features. Annual plans are also available at a discount. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellations take effect at the end of the current period. Partial-month refunds are not provided except where required by applicable law. The Guru 7-day free trial requires a payment method; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice for existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Create quiz content that is defamatory, obscene, or hateful
• Attempt to interfere with the Service's functionality or security
• Use automated tools to scrape or exploit the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the AI quiz generator to produce harmful or misleading content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

6. AI-Generated Content

Quizzes generated by AI are created automatically and may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. Users are responsible for reviewing quiz content before launching sessions.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of quiz content you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content as needed to operate the platform. The 12quiz name, logo, and platform are the property of 19 Sites Aps.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, 19 Sites Aps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms or at our discretion with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your quiz data may be deleted.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
